This is a touchy subject, and my family does not ever really talk about it. Growing up, this was something I had to learn to live with. I was never really asked what I remembered from such a young age. But the truth is, a lot of it wasn’t remembering. A lot of it was adapting. Adapting to something I was too young to understand. Learning how to live with pieces of something that happened before I was old enough to have the words for it. And as I got older, I started realizing that sometimes the things you adapt to as a kid don't just disappear because you grew up. “Still in This Car” is about that. It’s about what stays with you. What you don't talk about. What you learn to carry. And what it feels like when a part of you is still sitting in a moment that everyone else has already left. This one is personal. Probably the most personal song I’ve ever put on Xive.

It’s something that exists in your head before it exists anywhere else. At first, it might sound unrealistic. Maybe even impossible. It might be something you can’t fully explain to anyone because you can see it in your mind long before anyone else can. But I think that’s the interesting part about dreams. A dream doesn’t have to start with a plan. It starts with an idea. Then you start asking questions. “How could I actually make this happen?” And eventually, that thought turns into a decision. The decision turns into action. The action turns into mistakes, lessons, setbacks, late nights, and probably a whole lot of doubt. But if you keep moving, eventually that thing that only existed in your head starts becoming real. That’s what a dream means to me. Not something you sit around waiting for. Something you see before it exists — and then decide you're going to try to build it. Some dreams take years. Some change completely along the way. Some never work out. And that's okay too. Because I don't think the value of a dream is only in whether you eventually achieve it. Sometimes the dream is what gives you a reason to start building in the first place.

In an incident that sounds considerably more like a video game highlight than modern warfare, a United States Army tank allegedly achieved the first known in-flight shootdown of an enemy fighter aircraft — while the tank itself was airborne. Yes. The tank was flying. According to preliminary fictional battlefield reports, the armored vehicle was violently launched into the air during combat. Rather than accepting the fundamental laws of physics as a limitation, the tank crew reportedly identified an approaching enemy fighter jet and did the only reasonable thing available: They fired the main gun at it. And hit it. Witnesses described the scene as approximately six seconds of complete disbelief followed by everyone simultaneously asking: «“Did that tank just shoot down a jet?”» The answer was apparently yes. The fighter aircraft was destroyed while the tank continued its completely unauthorized career in aviation before eventually returning to the ground. Military analysts are already debating what the engagement means for the future of armored warfare. One fictional Pentagon official, speaking on the condition that nobody ask how any of this happened, reportedly said: «“Tanks are traditionally classified as ground vehicles. We may need to review that definition.”» The Army has not confirmed whether the crew will receive an aviation badge. The U.S. Air Force has also reportedly declined to comment. Unofficially, however, sources say fighter pilots are extremely unhappy about losing an air-to-air kill to a vehicle equipped with tracks. Military historians would likely classify the event as the first recorded tank-to-aircraft kill conducted while both the aircraft and the tank were airborne. Internet users
