Obviously everyone handles storms differently. But from my perspective. Never experiencing a hurricane and not really knowing when to panic or not to panic. What to do that’s important verses what’s not going to make a difference.

Commenting and being like: “tell me you’re not from here” because they’re doing something you don’t because you’ve stayed for X,Y,Z hurricane.
It’s just not helpful. For me, it stresses me out more. Am I over reacting? Should I stay? All of it.
I understand it is a Category 1 but by landfall it will Category 2. I understand we aren’t directly hit, but we are still in the outer line of it. There’s been Category 2 hurricanes that did more damage than a Category 5. I understand we’re I currently live is just a Tropical Storm and we have had sooo many and some that literally rained for 10 minutes and moved on.
I still worry about the Tropical Storms and if we should go somewhere else for the days when it’s supposed to be bad.
Guess what I am trying to get at, if someone that isn’t around them or just wants to feel calm and safe… rude comments about how someone is leaving or prepping just isn’t needed. Not everyone wants to be that “tough guy” on the news stating how he made it through roofs and trees falling on him or sitting on his roof waiting for help.
