Weekly votes for creators you believe in
Sparks are how fans back a specific creator in Xive's weekly competition. They count toward the leaderboard — they are not live gifts, tips, or stream credits.
What Sparks are

Votes for one creator. When you buy Sparks, you choose who receives them. Totals add up for that creator only.

Paid for with credits. Sparks are bought with your wallet credit balance — the same credits that send gifts. There is no separate card payment for Sparks; top up credits once and spend them wherever you like.

Weekly competition (UTC). Each calendar week runs Monday–Sunday in UTC. Rankings reset when a new week starts.

Leaderboard placement matters. Sparks decide where a creator lands on the weekly leaderboard, so the creators their community backs hardest get the spotlight.
What Sparks are not
Sparks are separate from gifts sent during a live stream and from one-off tips. Buying Sparks does not send a message on stream or unlock exclusive content by itself — it is support counted in the weekly competition.
Who can buy Sparks
Anyone with a Xive account. Sparks do not require Xive Pro or a subscription to the creator — sign in, then open Sparks from a creator profile, Short, or community surface. The only person who cannot send Sparks to a creator is that creator.
How creators earn from Sparks
Creators earn a share of every Spark sent to them, credited as it happens rather than at the end of the week — the same way live gifts work. Half of each payout is held in reserve for a short period before it becomes withdrawable, which is what covers refunds and chargebacks. Sparks earnings appear alongside gifts and subscriptions in Creator earnings.
